The weekend started off with rain in some parts of the UAE, like Abu Dhabi and parts of Dubai. According to the update provided by the weather office, UAE will experience more rain until Tuesday. In Abu Dhabi, rainfall was reported in several areas, especially in Al Dhafrah, and in Dubai, there were showers in places like Jebel Ali and Dubai Investments Park. Even the airports in Dubai and Sharjah saw light rain.
The weather forecast for Saturday says it might be partly cloudy or cloudy in some coastal and western areas of UAE, with a chance of rain now and then. Last week, the weather office warned about unstable weather from Sunday to Tuesday.
The reason for the cloudy weather is a “surface low-pressure system” spreading from the Southwest. This system will bring humid winds from the Southeast and clouds from the west and southwest.
Between Sunday and Tuesday, there could be heavy rain in some areas, with lightning and thunder sometimes. But by Tuesday evening, the clouds might start to go away.
Winds will be strong in places with clouds, which could make it dusty and hard to see on the roads. The sea might get rough, especially in the Arabian Gulf, starting from Sunday.
