All New Maruti Suzuki Swift Hybrid with 35 KMPL set to launch in India

Debuting at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show, the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift (Maruti Suzuki Dzire) is set to hit the roads in India this April. Rumors suggest it could arrive within weeks.

Subtle Tweaks for a Sleeker Look

The new Swift boasts a slightly more sculpted design compared to its predecessor. It’s grown 15mm in length to 3,860mm, but retains the familiar Swift silhouette. The most noticeable changes are at the front, with a larger grille, redesigned headlights featuring integrated LED daytime running lights, and a sportier lower bumper.

Color Options and Packed with Features

The Swift comes in eight vibrant metallic colors, with the option to add a contrasting roof in Black Pearl or Grey Metallic for a two-tone look on select models. Standard features include 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, navigation, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, wireless smartphone connectivity, and keyless entry and start.

Interior Comfort Gets a Boost

The cabin gets a refresh with reshaped front seats that offer improved shoulder and side bolstering for better comfort. The overall layout remains familiar, with subtle design tweaks for a more modern feel.

Hybrid Powertrain for Efficiency

The biggest change under the hood is the new hybrid powertrain. This system utilizes a 10Ah lithium-ion battery to capture wasted energy and improve fuel efficiency. An Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) acts as both a generator and starter motor, providing additional power (2.3kW) and torque (60Nm) to enhance performance.
