Pakistan Railways has released its summer time table, which will come into effect on April 15, 2024. The new timetable includes a number of changes, including new stoppages, regularization of existing stoppages, changes to the duration of stoppages, and the rescheduling of departure timings from originating stations.
Key Features of New Pakistan Railways Time Table
- New stoppages have been added for a number of trains, including the Hazara Express, Awam Express, Jaffar Express, Rehman Baba Exp, and Kohat Express.
- The stopages of some trains have been regularised.
- The duration of some stopages has been increased or decreased. For example, the stopage time of the Karakoram Express at Faisalabad has been increased from 5 minutes to 10 minutes.
- The departure timings of some trains from originating stations have been rescheduled. For example, the departure time of the Awam Express from Peshawar Cantt has been rescheduled from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
The summer time table also includes the induction of five new trains. These trains are:
- 3-Up/4-Dn Bolan Mail (Karachi City – Quetta – Karachi City)
- 13-Up/14-Dn Awam Express (Karachi Cantt – Peshawar – Karachi Cantt)
- 27-Up/28-Dn Shalimar Express (Karachi Cantt – Lahore – Karachi Cantt)
- 223-Up/224-Dn Harnai Passenger (Sibi – Harnal – Sibi)
