Following the Punjab and KP governments, the federal government has also announced a reduction in Tandoori Roti and Naan prices in Islamabad. According to the notification, the new price for a Tandoori Roti has been set at Rs. 16, while the price of Naan will be Rs. 20.
The decision to reduce the price of Tandoori Roti and Naan in Islamabad will help alleviate the financial burden on consumers amid all-time high inflation. Furthermore, the notification underscores the federal government’s commitment to address the affordability of essential food items for the masses.
Moreover, the notification also directed assistant commissioners and the price control magistrates to ensure the new prices and take necessary action against violators. The new prices will provide a much needed relief to the daily expenses of consumers in Islamabad.
It is pertinent to mention that the Punjab government also announced similar prices for Tandoori Roti and Naan on Sunday, which was followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.
