Maruti Suzuki plans to introduce the fourth-generation Swift in India by May 2024. Before the official price announcement, some dealers have started unofficial bookings by accepting informal bookings for the 2024 Maruti Swift, requiring a deposit of Rs. 11,000.
While official details for the Maruti Swift 2024 are limited, it’s anticipated that the model lineup, comprising LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ variants, will stay the same. Expected color choices include blue, red, white, silver, black, and orange.
In terms of design, the 2024 Maruti Swift might sport updated front and rear bumpers, a revised grille design, LED headlights with L-shaped LED DRLs, LED taillights, new alloy wheels, rear wiper and washer, and a shark-fin antenna. Additionally, the rear door handles, currently located on the C-pillar, are likely to return to the doors in the upcoming model.
Internationally, the new Swift is available with a fresh 1.2-litre Z12E petrol engine. It’s uncertain whether Maruti will introduce this engine in India or continue with the existing 1.2-litre K12C motor.
