Sindh Govt Announces Public Holiday For Labor Day on May 1, 2024

The Government of Sindh has announced a public holiday for Labor Day on May 1, 2024, and a notification has been issued by the Chief Secretary of Sindh in this regard.

According to the notification, all government offices, autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the Sindh government will remain closed for the public holiday on Labor Day.

However, the holiday does not apply to essential services.

However, the federal government and other provinces are yet to announce a public holiday on May 1, but it is included in the list of holidays shared by the Cabinet Division for this year.
