Lt. General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Yahya, Chairman of Saudi Immigration and Passport, announced plans to extend the Road to Makkah initiative to other Pakistani cities in the future, aiming to assist pilgrims preparing for Hajj.
The inauguration of the “Road to Makkah” project at Karachi airport marked a significant step forward in facilitating the Hajj pilgrimage.
During his speech at the ceremony on Sunday, Lt. General Al Yahya highlighted the integration of new technological and artificial intelligence services designed to improve the Road to Makkah journey.
He underscored the simplified immigration process for Pakistani pilgrims at Karachi airport, ensuring a smooth travel experience to Saudi Arabia.
Further detailing the goals of the Road to Makkah initiative, Lt. General Al Yahya emphasized its objectives to expedite immigration procedures and offer enhanced services to pilgrims from various countries, including Pakistan.
Through the implementation of new technological and artificial intelligence services, such as electronic visas and mobile fingerprint authentication, the Road to Makkah initiative aims to enhance the Hajj experience for all prospective pilgrims.
