The delivery time for passports remains around 5 to 6 weeks for regular passports and 2 to 3 weeks for urgent ones, considering the journey from Islamabad to Frankfurt. Applicants are strongly advised to check the Consulate General’s website for passport availability before heading for collection.
Applicants have the option to pick up their new passports in person during specified hours or authorize a representative with a signed letter of authority. Alternatively, passports can be sent via post with the necessary postage stamps and a self-addressed envelope.
In the event of a lost passport, additional requirements and fees will be applicable. It’s vital for applicants to take measures to safeguard their passports to prevent loss and ensure a hassle-free travel document experience.
These updates highlight the dedication to providing efficient passport services for Pakistani citizens in Germany, thereby facilitating smooth travel and documentation procedures.
