Due to rising temperatures, the Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has announced revised school timings across the province.
According to the details, the schools will now commence classes at 7:00 am, with primary schools concluding at 11:00 am, while middle, high, and higher secondary schools closing at 12:00 pm.
The Director of Education for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) stated that the decision was taken in light of the rising temperatures and heatwave-like conditions.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), there might be some relief as heatwave-like conditions are likely to subside with dust and thunderstorm with isolated rain expected across the country from May 28th.
