The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain, wind, and thunderstorms for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various parts of Pakistan on Monday night, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

A westerly wave is expected to enter Pakistan’s upper regions on Tuesday evening/night, bringing about these weather changes.

• Monday Night: Rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, the Potohar region, northeast Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
• Tuesday and Wednesday: Rain-wind/thunderstorms will likely continue in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Pothohar Region, upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, particularly during the evening and night.
