Pakistan Railways has unveiled plans to operate three special trains for Eid-ul-Azha, with two departing from Karachi and one from Quetta.
The first special Eid train will commence its journey from Karachi to Peshawar on June 14 at 6:30 pm, offering exclusively economy class accommodations. Following suit, the second special train will embark from Karachi to Lahore on June 15 at 9:30 pm, featuring a combination of 2 business, 2 standard class, and other economy class coaches. while the third special train will depart from Quetta.
Predictions from the Pakistan Meteorological Department suggest that Eidul Azha is likely to fall on June 17 (Monday). According to the Climate Data Processing Centre, the sighting of the Zilhajj moon is anticipated on June 7 (Friday), leading to the celebration of Eidul Azha on June 17 (Monday).
The moon is projected to rise at 5:38 PM on June 6, with sunset expected at 7:20 PM, offering a visibility window of 72 minutes post-sunset.
Eidul Azha also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, holds immense significance for Muslims worldwide, commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s profound act of willingness to sacrifice his son to God.
