The government has decided to reduce the petrol prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight, from 15 June 2024 to 30 June 2024. According to the details, the government has decided to slash the price of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next fortnight ahead of Eid ul Adha to provide much needed relief to the citizens.
According to the notification, the petrol price has been reduced by Rs. 10.20 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been slashed by Rs. 2.33 per litre. This brings the new price of petrol at Rs. 258.16 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will be sold at Rs. 267.89 per litre.

The latest diesel and petrol prices in Pakistan will be applicable from midnight on 15 June 2024 for the second half of the month. It is pertinent to mention that the federal government has reduced the prices a day earlier to provide relief ahead of Eid ul Adha.
“The prices of Petroleum products have seen a mixed trend in the international market during the last fortnight. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has worked out the consumer prices, based on the price variations in the international market.” said the notification issued by the Finance Division.

In the last fortnightly review, the government also reduced petrol price in Pakistan by Rs. 4.74 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) was slashed by Rs. 3.80 per litre.
