Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has started giving out Umrah visas for the new season, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Thursday. The new Umrah season begins with the start of the Islamic year on Muharram 1. This change aims to make it easier for pilgrims to arrive and have a smooth experience.
The ministry is working hard to follow the Saudi leadership’s instructions to welcome more Umrah pilgrims and provide them with the services they need.
A month ago, the ministry paused giving out Umrah permits through the Nusuk app to make things better for the Hajj pilgrims who were coming from all over the world.
Now, the ministry has started giving out Umrah visas again through the Nusuk app from Dhul Hijjah 15, which is June 21. They said this will help Umrah pilgrims arrive in Saudi Arabia without any trouble.
“This yearly plan comes right after the Hajj season,” the ministry stated. “It uses our experience to offer programs that help both Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and make their journey better.”
