12-Hour Gas Loadshedding Announced for DHA and Korangi Areas in Karachi

Residents of Karachi can expect a 12-hour gas loadshedding as Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced that gas supply to the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and Korangi areas will be suspended on June 23 due to the installation of a new pipeline.

This maintenance project will run from Azeempura to Jam Sadiq Bridge and requires the gas supply to be shut off from 8 am to 8 pm on that day.

The suspension will affect both industrial and domestic users in all sectors of Korangi, as well as residents of DHA and surrounding areas.

The specific areas impacted include Defence View, Manzoor Colony, Akhtar Colony, Kashmir Colony, Mehmoodabad, Azam Basti, Qayyumabad, DHA Phase 2 Extension, Phase 4, Phase 5 and Extension, Phase 7 and Extension, and Phase 8, including Creek Vista and Emaar.
