The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) announced on that the MDCAT-2024 examination will take on September 22, 2024 across Pakistan, including Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Registration Details
Students must register on the official PMDC website starts from today, August 5. Early registration is essential to secure a spot and gather necessary information about the exam process.
Examination Centers
The paper-based exam will be conducted in multiple regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in line with directives from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government and PMDC. The centers include:
- Peshawar
- Mardan
- Kohat
- Abbottabad
- Swat
- Dir Lower
A special meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor KMU Prof Dr. Zia ul Haq, focused on planning and executing the exam. The meeting emphasized the importance of thorough preparation to ensure the exam’s transparency and fairness.
During the meeting, Prof Dr. Zia ul Haq briefed participants on the necessary arrangements, logistics, and timelines. He also encouraged input and suggestions from the attendees to ensure the MDCAT-2024 examination is conducted smoothly and efficiently.
