Traffic Advisory – Islamabad (25th October 2024)

Islamabad: Due to a protest, Suhrawardy Road near the old MNA Hostel and the Suhrawardy Road loop towards Srinagar Highway are closed for traffic. Please use Srinagar Highway as an alternative route.

There is heavy traffic from Chand Tara Chowk to Dhokri Chowk. Citizens are requested to maintain lane discipline while traveling.

For entering the Red Zone, use Ayub Chowk and Margalla Road.

Due to an ongoing protest, the following roads are closed for traffic:

• Suhrawardy Road near the Old MNA Hostel
• Suhrawardy Road loop towards Srinagar Highway

Alternative Route: Use Srinagar Highway to avoid disruptions.

There is heavy traffic from Chand Tara Chowk to Dhokri Chowk. Commuters are urged to maintain lane discipline for smoother travel.

For access to the Red Zone, please use Ayub Chowk and Margalla Road.
