Now, Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd has delivered one of the biggest blows to the automaker as it has announced permanent bookings suspension for all variants of the Suzuki WagonR from March 11, 2025.
Pak Suzuki explained this in an official circular sent to dealers across Pakistan, where it was also confirmed that Pak Suzuki will not be taking any further orders of the WagonR.
The dealerships have been mandated to notify their sales teams and potential customers about this decision.

Suzuki WagonR is one of the top-selling Suzuki hatchbacks which has been a part of Pakistan’s compact vehicle market in the last 10-years. Known for its great mileage, roomy cabin and dependable performance, the WagonR quickly grew to become a family favourite, as well as a popular choice for ride-hailing services. Powering the car was a 1.0L K10B engine, and it was available in VXR, VXL, and auto-transmission AGS trims.
Although there’s been no official explanation for the cancellation, observers of the market suspect changing tastes, a crowded field, and a general move by the automaker toward other, new models have contributed to the decision.
Important facts regarding Suzuki WagonR in Pakistan:
- Launch Year: 2014
- 998cc (K10B), efficient 3-cylinder motor
- Most prefixes: VXR, VXL, AGS (Auto Gear Shift)
Market Appeal: Recognized for good value, little upkeep, and high resale values
However, the company will continue to offer after-sales support and parts availability for current WagonR customers via Suzuki’s authorised service network.
It appears Pak Suzuki was not able to manage the sales of Suzuki Cultus, which offers slightly better cabin space equiped with the same engine.
Pak Suzuki also expressed its gratitude to its dealer network and customers for their cooperation and continued patronage.
