The police in Lahore have detained four private guards for beating a citizen near the Beijing Underpass on Canal Road after the citizen failed to let their vehicle pass. This activity was instantly curtailed after videos of the incident began circulating on social media, resulting in severe public condemnation as well as demands for authorities to take necessary steps.
Filming from a distance, some people witnessed and recorded lemmings exiting luxury cars and beating a man with the butt of a rifle. The subject, who is a cloth trader, showed extreme bravery while pursuing his attackers and was able to get ahold of one on his way out.
While parading his victimization on TikTok, he mentioned that as they were driving towards Thokar Niaz Baig, they were blocked by two cars. “They way blocked me at the Beijing Underpass and beat me for not allowing them to access.” He stated that in the process, they left behind a few of their guns.

After a couple of videos surfaced, a police officer, Government Operations Kamran Faisal, had to respond to this issue, which was previously deemed spontaneous, and took required action by making smaller task groups to address each of the specific aspects of the problem. Later on, within a day, police was able to arrest all four guards and were able to press charges against them.
Reports claim that the guards were supposedly contracted to provide security for the foreign visitors, the details of which are still undisclosed by the officials.
No one is above the law is the claim given by the public in regard to the victim’s case by the public, while assuring the public that everybody is entitled to justice, Faisal set out to solve his claim. Such violence will not be tolerated is what he said after claiming impression and force from high positions is going too far.
The case has yet again brought forward the issue on rampant private guard overzealousness alongside the VIP syndrome on the road. Investigation by the police is still in process.
