Eid ul Fitr 2025: Punjab Schools to Close for 8 Days from March 28

The Punjab School Education Department has announced that all public schools across the province will remain closed from Friday, March 28, 2025, to Sunday, April 6, 2025. Schools will reopen on Monday, April 7, 2025.

However, academic and non-academic staff are required to be present on Friday, April 4, 2025, for result announcements.

The notification, issued by Secretary of School Education Khalid Nazir Wattoo, directs all chief executive officers (DEAs) in Punjab to ensure compliance with the orders.
