Three additional victims from yesterday’s devastating bus accident near Bola Khan have died in a Hyderabad hospital, raising the total fatalities to 16.
The victims were members of the Bheel community returning from seasonal wheat harvesting in Balochistan, officials confirmed.
Local authorities reported that the overloaded bus lost control and plunged into a ravine after brake failure, leaving 28 injured. Rescue teams rushed survivors to nearby medical facilities, where three remain in critical condition.
Deputy Commissioner Ghazanfar Qadri stated that the laborers were heading home when the tragedy occurred. Hospital staff, including RMO Dr. Faizan Memon, are working to stabilize the wounded as investigations into the crash continue.
