Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia “Ummah looks like uncontrollable animals”

Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Abdul-Aziz ibn Abdullah Al ash-Sheikh called on the Muslim world to follow the example of the West in the election of persons to public office.

“Ummah looks like uncontrollable animals”, said the Saudi mufti from the rostrum of the mosque of Imam Turki bin Abdul Aziz in Riyadh.

 “Borrow the experience of Western countries at the time of the election, and there will be no chaos and instability in society, which currently takes place in the Muslim world“, quoted the Saudi Court Mufti newspaper Al-Bayan.

It is to be recalled that the same mufti earlier urged Muslims not to pray for punishing America, the leader of world infidelity, during natural disasters such as Hurricane Sandy. This was reported by the Saudi newspaper Al Hayat.

The Saudi mufti, calling now for democratic elections is known as an active supporter of murjism. In spring last year he issued a statement about inadmissibility of protests.

He forbade people to protest against the King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah. However, it is an obligation for Muslims living in Saudi Arabia not to go out for demonstrations, but to go out against an apostate ruler.

Major murjites of Saudi Arabia believe that the help of the Saudi king to American and European infidels against the Muslims, his permit to deploy in the home of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) US military bases, substitution the Sharia law by human-invented laws, do not cause the abandonment of Islam.

From a hadith of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):

“Abu Sayeed al-Khudree reported that Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said:

“You will follow the practices of your predecessors, inch by inch and yard by yard, so much so that if they were to enter a lizard’s hole you would also follow them”. He then asked if he meant the Jews and the Christians and He replied: “Who Else?”

In another version of the hadith also says:

“… And even if some of them will have sexual intercourse with his woman right on the road, then you will do the same”.
