PARACHINAR : Three people were killed including two children while another injured in two separate blast incidents in Shablan and Dal areas of Kurram Agency on Sunday, sources said. According to details, a car collided with a mine planted in Zangi village of Shablan, some twelve kilometres from Agency Headquarters, Parachinar.
The blast left three children injured among which two succumbed to their wounds in the Agency Hospital. The victims were identified as 16 year-old Yasin and 18 year-old Syed Taqi. Both were the students of 8th grade and were going to purchase computers. The injured minor was six-year old and identified as Wasi Shah.
The second incident occurred in Dal area, where unknown miscreants planted Improvised Explosive Device on a trail that ripped killing, Sarfaraz on the spot.
Talking to media, Medical Superintendent Agency Headquarters Hospital Parachinar, Dr.Sabir Hussain said that the condition of the six-year old injured is stable and all the available medical facilties were being provided to him.
Meanwhile, Assistant Political Agent (APA) Parachinar, Maqsood-ul-Hassan visited hospital and enquired about the health of injured child. He also inspected the site of both blasts. He said that investigations of the incidents have been initiated.
