WhatsApp has launched a desktop client service known as WhatsApp Web. WhatsApp Web mirrors the conversation and messages from your mobile device so your messages will still live on your phone.
It’s a web app rather than a native client — and for now, at least, it seems to only play friendly with Google Chrome.
WhatsApp Web can be used by scanning a QR code with your phone to log in.
You can download WhatsApp for Desktop, or you can simply go to https://web.whatsapp.com/ and scan QR code from your phone to sync it on your laptop or PC.

WhatsApp Web is accessible through Android and iOS devices. You will need to have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your phone, and you have to run WhatsApp Web from the Google Chrome web browser.
Previously, several methods were available to run WhatsApp on desktop, but none of those was official; however, this one is.
