BBC URDU will start one hour transmission on Express News, now that’s strange because as far I think BBC is very well known all around Pakistan BBC Radio Transmission, Urban and Rural Areas and They could have had the channel which personally I watched, Since I don’t watch Local Current Affairs Channels.
Instead of Starting up BBC URDU CHANNEL, It will be on the Express news at 11 pm PST I think Daily, There is No doubt about BBC Service that it’s the most authentic and reliable source of information which since years been on Radio and the Web but why not as Channel that’s my question?
I don’t know the reason behind it but not a great move by merging with Express News, because Local is Local and BBC is BBC nothing compares to it. Hope to see the BBC URDU CHANNEL in Pakistan Soon.

یہ ٹی وی پروگرام ہفتے میں تین دن یعنی پیر، بدھ اور جمعے کو پاکستان کے مقامی وقت کے مطابق رات گیارہ بجے نشر ہوگا۔

Bro Farhan, FYI BBC never develop/create new channels according to the regional transmission. These (Urdu, Hindi etc.) are the services not channels which they provide to thier listeners and viewers around the world. If they have any seperate channel for regional lagnauges than its totally and only based on the viewership pattern inside thier premiss (i.e UK or inside england). And they sell out their programms around the world on the basis of commercialiation. GEO + VOA now Express + BBC, might in furture Aaj/Dawn/Dunya/etc + CNN. GOD knows better where this commercialisation would take correct information and right true News in this society.
Well, I hope now it is clear to you why these big giants dont have seperate channels for other regions.
