13 Joseph Colony attack suspect sent to jail on judicial remand

LAHORE: Thirteen suspects said to be involved in the Joseph Colony attack have been sent to jail for fourteen days on judicial remand.

Fourteen suspects who had earlier been sent to jail for four days on police remand were presented before and Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday.

The court freed one suspect due to lack of evidence while thirteen others were sent to jail.

Over 150 homes of the Christian community were set ablaze by an angry mob on March 9 in Joseph Colony located in the Badami Bagh area of Lahore after blasphemous comments made by Sawan Masih.
