KARACHI: Two eyewitnesses in the Shahzeb Khan murder case refused to identity main acccused Shahrukh Jatoi in an Anti-Terrorism court here
Earlier, four eyewitnesses in the case had identified the accused before the Judicial Magistrate but their statements as witnesses had not been recorded.
The two witnesses who were Shahzeb Khan’s neighbors appeared before the anti-terrorism court on Monday. The witnesses informed the court that they did not see Shahrukh Jatoi at the scene of the crime.
20 year old Shahzeb Khan was shot and killed in the Defence area of Karachi on 25 December 2012. Shahrukh Jatoi, Siraj Talpur, Sajjad Talpur and Ghulam Mustafa Lashari are being tired for his murder in the Anti Terrorism Court.
The two witnesses in Shahzeb Khan murder case have changed their statement stating that they have not seen Shahrukh Jataoi, the main accused committing the crime.
Sources said that the witnesses said they did not see Shahrukh Jatoi and other accused murdering Shahzeb Khan.
Shahrukh Jatoi, along with three other nominated accused Nawab Siraj Ali Talpur, Nawab Sajjad Ali Talpur and their employee Ghulam Murtaza Lashari, has been accused of killing private university student Shahzeb Khan after a brawl in DHA Phase V on December 25.
