Elon Musk initially had plans to send two passengers to the moon and back. At this point nothing clear about the identity of the passenger, nor it is clear if the new customer is one of the two announced last year. The only hint given till now about the identity of the passenger is that he/she could be someone from Japan.
It was quoted by Musk once that the BFR’s development cost was around $10 billion.
