Portal and Portal+ are two new video chat devices launched by the tech giant.

Facebook Introducing Portal: Video Calling Device
In its blog, thanking Al Technology Facebook has said, Portal makes video calling easier giving a feeling of hanging out with friends. It helps to connect with friends and family as if you are in the same room – even though when miles apart.
The widescreen display lets you enjoy every moment with your loved ones as Portal and Portal+ let you feel you are there with them.
Video calling has been improved with a 10 inch 1280×800 display. If you want a larger screen you have the option of 15 inches 1920x 1080 pivoting display with Portal+
