Crimea College Attack – 17 Killed and 40 Injured

Russian officials at first reported a gas explosion. Later it was reported during lunchtime college canteen was ripped off by an explosive device in a suspected terrorist attack. Witnesses also testified some victims were killed by a gunman.
The attacker is identified as Vladislav Roslyakov, 18. The attacker was seen on security camera entering the college with a rifle and firing at students.
The Investigative Committee said all had died from gunshots, which earlier was said the victims had wounds resulting from the explosion.
State of emergency is declared by the officials on the Black Sea peninsula. Military units have also been deployed around the college.
Spokesman of Russian President Vladimir Putin has told the reporters that the matter is being looked into by the officials and President Vladimir Putin has instructed the agencies to conduct a thorough investigation. He has also offered condolences to the families of the victims.
