Fire Engulfs Sharjah Villa – Two Dead, Three Injured

Sharjah:  Fire engulfed Sharjah Villa killing two and injuring three. A neighboring house was also ravaged by the fire as reported by the emergency officials.

Fire broke out on Monday evening Sharjah Villa situated in Maysaloon area.

Suffocation took lives of two.

Sharjah Civil Defense dispatched firefighter and rescue units as soon as they were alerted. The rescue team reached the area withinfive minutes. Officials informed neighboring house was also ravaged by the fire.

Immediate medical attention was given to the injured. Among injured were also an Asian woman and her child. An elderly resident found in critical condition was rushed to the hospital.

Firefighters from Saman and Al Mina douses the blaze and prevented it from spreading further.

Officials reported more than 30 people occupied the house. The house which was sublet to them without the knowledge of the landlord.
