Late Adv.Sanam Umrani Sister’s Appeal for Justice

Sindh: Late Advocate Sanam Sikandar Umrani was brutally murdered on 31 May 2018, in her Jacobabad home by armed men. Her sister Nayab Sikandar Umrani is still waiting for justice amid threats on her own life. Advocate Sanam Umrani Sister’s Appeals for Justice now.

She has taken to social media and uploaded her video pleading the authorities for justice for Advocate Sanam Sikandar Umrani.

Nayab Sikandar Umrani who can hardly speak, have said:

She Nayab Sikandar Umrani and her brother Munawar Sikandar Umrani who hail from Jacobabad city of Sindh province belong to a Baloch family.

Her step brothers have murdered her mother, sister,brother and brother’s wife. Her sister advocated Sanam has three small children.

On 31 May 2018 her sister of Nayab Sikandar Umrani was brutally murdered in Jacobabad right in front her by her step brother.

Shafqat Umrani who murdered her sister is still free. He has confiscated their property and lands forcibly as well.

Her family was murdered over property and land.

On 6 July 2018 the Chief Justice took suo motu notice on Nayab Umrani’s application.

Her step brother is trying to have the section of terrorism removed from the case through Sindh High Court to weaken the case. He is also trying to bail out the Miral and Liaquat who are currently held in Shikarpur jail.

Bashir Anwar (Step brother) has confiscated their entire land and property.

They are threatening to kill her as well, they have killed her entire family. Killed her mother, her sister, brother and sister inlaw.

They are also responsible for the unstable mental state of her brother Munawar.

She is now Appealing to Prime Minister Imran Khan,Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, Chief of Army Staff Qamar Bajwa, Chief Minister Sind MuradAli Shah and Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan.  

She has appealed to give strict instructions to Sindh Police and Baluchistan Police for the arrest of Shafqat Umrani, the murderer of her sister as soon as possible. And give them back what rightfully belongs to them.

Tahira Khoso Nayab’s Sister in law was killed in 2015. Few months later her husband Waqar Umrani’s (brother of Nayab) body was found in a car in Baluchistan.

Advocate Sanam was legal counsel of Waqar Umrani who was charged with the murder of his wife Tahira Khoso.

It is believed the Umranis and Khosos were in some sort of land dispute.
