MEXICO: As reported by Reuters, Mexico’s new government has announced to sale airplanes used by their former president. That sounds familiar. After Prime Minister, Imran Khan’s initiative of putting former Government’s vehicles auction, here is one such initiative.
We all learn from each other, good things should be adopted from others while bad ones shunned.
President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador announced while addressing a rally in Xalap, Vercruz, “We are selling all the planes and helicopters that the corrupt politicians used,”
People roared in approval and this was announced at the end of his first full day as president. This is new President’s first move to free the country from what he calls a towering symbol of excess.
The new government of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is ready to sale all the planes and helicopters used by the corrupt politicians. The presidential jet cost the government $218, it was acquired in2012. There are as many as 60 government planes and 70 helicopters. All will be put to sale.
According to finance ministry, the jet will be flown to Victorville airport in southern California for the new owner.
