Bugatti La Voiture Noire 2019 is the most expensive car ever sold at the price of USD 19 millions.

The latest creation of Bugatti has set new standards in price and exclusivity. The price set for Bugatti La Voiture Noire is €16.7 million. Almost $19 million, including taxes. Before taxes, the cost is $12.5 million.

The French Luxury car maker Bugatti unveiled presenting at the 2019 Geneva Motorshow on Tuesday.

According to Bugatti only one car will be made. It was also stated it is the most expensive new car ever sold.

The identity of the buyer is not revealed by Bugatti.

But the Automaker said it is some one with great financial resources and who has enormous attachment with Bugatti Brand.

Bugatti’s new La Voiture Noire is designed to pay tribute to the missing Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic of the 1930s. The tribute was paid in their 110th anniversary year.

“La Voiture Noire” simply means “The Black Car.”

Only four of these were made. One went missing in World War II during the French invasion by the Germans.

Three of the cars managed to survive though.

Today they are among the most valued cars in the world.

According to Hagerty Insurance they are worth more than USD 50 million.

The 57 SC Atlantic was designed by Jean Bugatti, son of Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti.

The Bugatti La Voiture Noire 2019 has the same nearly 1,500 horsepower 16-cylinder engine as the $3 million Bugatti Chiron on which it is based.
