PHILIPPINES: Miss Philippines’ Catriona Gray, who won the Miss Universe 2018 crown, has revealed through tweeter that she has broken her Mikimoto Crown.
She broken her $250,000 worth crown while dancing.

Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray has confessed in a video clip shared on tweeter that she has broken her Mikimoto Crown. She said she was so excited at her homecoming parade at Araneta Center, she could not help dancing.
The video was posted on the Miss Universe official tweeter page.

In the video Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is heard saying:

“So one of the things I love about the parade is that they have this moving band and they have the drums that make me want to dance, so I end up dancing although I am not a very good dancer.”
“But I have a confession. The Mikimoto has seen better days as a result of my dancing. I’m so sorry,”
She said part of the crown broke when she danced during her homecoming.
The Mikimoto Crown is embedded with
- 500 diamonds weighing almost 30 carats and
- 120 South Sea and Ayoka pearls.
Nothing to worry about though The Miss Universe Organization has assured CatrionaGray that the crown will be fixed soon.
