ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone of Hyderabad University in Islamabad on Thursday.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, PM Imran Khan said :
I am very happy today that we are inaugurating a university today. He said only those nations develop which invest in its people.
Further stressing the importance of education he said society will only develop and progress only with education. Those nations who realised the importance of education and invested accordingly have progressed and moved ahead.
If we educate and equip the youth of the country, they will take the country to a peak and if ignored these youth will crash down the nation. Therefore it is important to invest education.

He also said in Naya Pakistan we will stress on two things, education and justice will be two main pillars.
PM Imran Khan has said Hyderabad University will be developed on technical and scientific grounds. And he has promised that Hyderabad University will receive all the support needed by Hyderabad University.

PM Imran Khan also mentioned Al-Qadir University being established n the private sector at Sohawa in Jehlum. He said science and Sufism will be taught to promote tolerance and present true picture of Islam.
Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood speaking on the ocassion said the Higher Education Commission has forwarded a project. The project of Hyderabad University will cost two billion rupees which is awaiting approval. The project will be completed within Three years. The Land for the University will be also acquired soon.

Shafqat Mehmood also said the special focus will be on quality and standard.
Minister for Information Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui also thanked PM Imran Khan.
