KARACHI: At least five people have been killed and 86 others injured as an intense dust storm hits Karachi and its surrounding areas on Sunday night continuing till Monday morning.
According to officials, three dead bodies were shifted to Jinnah hospital and around 50 injured were brought to the hospital, Meanwhile over 35 were shifted to civil hospital.
Several incidents were reported in the city of roof collapse, storm uprooting the street lights poles, trees falling and blocking the roads, causing major disturbances and havoc in the city.
The western disturbance which entered from Iran in Balochistan intensified the situation.
