Moon was not sighted throughout Pakistan Yesterday.
Chairman Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman stated no witness of moon sighting was received from any part of the country.
Therefore Ramadan 2019 will begin from 7 May 2019.

Ramadan In Pakistan 2019
Pakistan Meteorological Department was expecting the moon sighting on Monday, 6th of May.
PMD had revealed the new moon of Ramadan, 1440 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 03:45 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on May 5 and Ramadan moon will be sighted on the evening of Monday, May 6.

The Month of Ramadan is the month of blessings. Allah Almighty has bestowed this month so that Muslims take full benefits from the generosities and blessings of this month.
The fasting is prescribed by Almighty to attain self-transformation. It means pass through hardships in accordance with Allah’s commands.
The President also said the nation should not forget it’s martyrs who laid down their lives for this country’s peace and prosperity.
He also said the Government of Pakistan has embarked on their journey to lead the nation to the right direction.
He also added soon the set targets of development will be achieved by the Government.
The President also urged the nation for their joint efforts.
The President of Pakistan Dr. Alvi also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant discipline, unity, tolerance, religious harmony, affection, brotherhood and well-being to the nation.
