Trump Signs Nice on Map Representing Golan As Part of Israel

ISRAEL: Trump signs “nice” on the map representing Golan Heights as part of Israel and Netanyahu cannot stop showing it off.

During Thursday’s Televised Interview Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed off the new State of Department Map.

Netanyahu couldn’t stop boasting that the map was autographed by President Donald Trump and he had also marked the Golan Heights as part of Israel.

The map had written “nice” on it with an arrow pointing towards the Golan Height.

Trump Signs Nice on Map Representing Golan As Part of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday

The son-in-law and senior adviser of President Donald Trump had brought him a gift.

He said Jared Kushner had gifted an updated State Department map, incorporating Golan Heights as part of Israel.

Israel captured Golan Heights from Syria in 1967 in a six day war. It was annexed in 1981.

Golan Heights was occupied from Syria by Israel in 1967, annexed by in 1981.

Successive UN resolutions regard it as Syrian territory. Israel almost gave it back in 1999. Trump recognized it as Israeli ahead of election last April. Election now has to be repeated…

In March Donald Trump recognized Golan Heights as part of Israel.

International consensus regards Golan as territory of Syria. The decision has put the US in an odd position as it reversing the fifty year old American policy.

Last month Netanyahu had also said his new government will name a town in Golan Territory after Trump.

This move is being seen as a bid to help the premiere get out of his political chaos and help him win the election.

Trump signed a proclamation on 25 March when Netanyahu visited the White House.
