ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amer Ali Ahmed has directed all formations of the authority for early resolution of complaints through Pakistan Citizen Portal.
He said that no laxity will be tolerated in case of non-compliance and delay in disposal of complaints.
He issued these directions while presiding over a meeting to review the progress of complaints received through Pakistan Citizen Portal. The meeting was attended by the heads of all formations of the authority.
Chairman CDA was briefed that CDA has managed to resolve about 7100 out of 8566 received complaints. The meeting was informed that out of these 1141 are new complaints while 340 complaints are in progress to be resolved. The meeting was further briefed that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding disposal of complaints received through Pakistan Citizen Portal is being devised with the aim to monitor progress and fix responsibility at all levels.

Chairman CDA said that Pakistan Citizen Portal is a forum which not only helps resolve public’s problems but is also a source to evaluate public opinion regarding the performance of the authority. He added that he will regularly review the progress in this regard and delay in disposal of complaints would not be tolerated.
