Miss World 2019 Is Coming To London: Date and Venue revealed

ENGLAND: Miss World 2019 is now coming to London. It will no longer be held in Thailand.

The 69th event of the Miss World 2019 will be held in London, Julia Morley announced live on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan.

All the 130 contestants will start arriving in London on 20 November. The grand final will take place on Saturday 14 December at ExCeL London.

Julia Morley said:

“London is the greatest city in the world to visit. It’s where Miss World started in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations and this year, we are going to put on the best show ever.
“Each year we bring together women from around the world with a shared sense of purpose. For many of them, this will be their first visit to London, and they are all so excited. They can’t wait to share their traditions, the music they enjoy, the food they eat and the astonishing range of ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ charitable projects they are working on.”

Miss World final show will be broadcast globally to over 150 countries. The reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de León, will pass the crown to the 69th Miss World in London.

This year Miss World was scheduled on December 17 in Thailand, reportedly it has been cancelled as the negotiation with Thailand has failed.

However, Miss World 2020 is expected to return back to Thailand, where the 70th Miss World be crowned. Thailand will be working very closely with the 69th event in London as well.
