ISLAMABAD: Senior PPP leader Khursheed Shah has been arrested by The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday.
Khursheed Shah has been arrested in the case of assets beyond means.
The arrest was undertaken as a joint operation by Sukkur and Rawalpindi NAB teams.

Domestic staff informed the media that the Islamabad residence of PPP leader was raided by over 20 NAB and police personnel.
The domestic staff also informed the team that arrested the PPP leader did not allow any discussion, nor allowed the staff to use mobile phones before taking Shah away.
The arrest comes after allegations were proved against him in the initial investigation. Further inquiries will be made during the case.
Cases Against Khursheed Shah
The investigations has been on going since August 7, he was summoned by NAB after they opened inquiry against his assets worth Rs.500 billions.
- Allotted himself an amnesty plot illegally from a cooperative society in Sukkur.
- Built bungalows, petrol pumps, and hotels in the name of others (benamidaar).
According to NAB sources Shah will be shifted to Sukkur under transit remand.
