Kamyab Jawan Program receives 0.9m applications

ISLAMABAD: Kamyab Jawan Program has already received 0.9 million applications, just in two weeks.

According to reports on daily basis 50,000 to 100,000 applications are being received.

The Prime Minister’s youth loan scheme, Kamyab Jawan Program has become very popular among the youths of Pakistan.

The main purpose of this program was to empower the youths. Instead of looking for jobs, now the youth will be able to start their own businesses and create job opportunities for the others.

Loan Disbursement Under Kamyab Jawan Program

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar had announced in October that the Loan Disbursement under Kamyab Jawan Program will start from the month of December.

It is estimated that 1 million youth will benefit from this scheme. Amount allocated for this scheme is Rs.100 billion. Youth across the country will be able to avail this opportunity.

Usman Dar has also assured this program will be kept transparent and free from political interference.

The main purpose of the Kamyab Jawan Program is to help the youth stand on their own feet. He is confident that this initiative will prove to be a game changer for the development of the country’s economy.r

In the next phase of the program quota for the disabled and the minorities will be fixed.

He reiterated there will be no mark up on the loan amounting to 100,000/- rupees.

Six percent interest rate will be levied on loan amounting to more than 100,000/- to 500,000/- rupees.

Eight percent interest rate will be levied on loan more than 500,000/- to 5,000,000/- rupees.

Only one member of the household will be eligible to avail the loan.

PM Imran Khan had officially inaugurated the The Program on October 17. PM Khan had also mentioned the upcoming two program for the youth. They are “Green Youth Movement” and “StartUp Pakistan”
