ISLAMABAD: Former Finance Minister Asad Umar takes oath as the new Minister for Planning and Development and reforms on Tuesday.
The Oath taking ceremony was held at Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad where President of Pakistan Arif Alvi administered the oath.
Asad Umar was removed from Finance Ministry in April just before Pakistan went into IMF Programme for next year years.
Asad Umar was offered for The Ministry of Petroleum by the Prime Minister of Pakistan which he refused at that time.
Prime Minister Khan also has given the special task to Asad Umar to oversee the projects and development in Karachi specifically.
Today on Tuesday, Asad Umar takes oath as a new Minister for Planning Development and Reforms.
