Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will be the successor to the Mi Band 4 that has been really popular among users mainly because of the features and quality it offered for the cheap price. There are not many other fitness trackers out there that do the same when it comes to these features for a low price.
According to sources like TizenHelp, the new Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is likely to have a bigger AMOLED color display at 1.2 inches and it is likely to have global support for NFC.
The Mi Band 4 in comparison had a screen size of just 0.95 inch with a resolution of 120×240 pixels. However, according to the report, the Mi Band 5 is likely to have a bigger screen at 1.2 inches with better brightness, contrast and overall an improved display.
Unlike the Mi Band 4 that has NFC support but it is limited to the China region. The company is likely bring global NFC support to their new Mi Band 5.

The aim is to enable NFC payments using Google Pay on the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 that users can make use of while travelling.
The Mi Band 4 came with a 135mAH battery and the newer Mi Band 5 will likely have a bigger battery with a more optimised running time.
