The audio recording has Heard admitting to hitting her former husband Depp and even pelting things like pans and pots at him.

The pair married in February of 2015 but their marriage did not last long as both of them divorced in August of 2016 agreeing to a settlement of $7 million (USD).

In the recording, Heard can be listened to saying:

I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you’re fine, I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you,

I can’t promise that it will all be perfect. I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again. God I [expletive] sometimes… I get so mad I lose it.

Johnny Depp in a response can be heard saying:

I love you and I want you to be my wife. And I wanna be a good husband. If I haven’t been, I’ll do everything I can to find out how to be a good husband.

Although Heard says in the audio recording:

I did not start screaming until you had [expletive] said all the [expletive]. You poke an animal enough, it is eventually, it doesn’t matter how friendly it is, it’s not cool.

Depp can than be heard replying:

That’s not true, It’s the same for me, it’s the same for me.

The fight goes on and we then hear Depp saying that she threw pots at him:

It’s not true. It’s not true. I’m not the one who throws pots and whatever the [expletive] else at me.

Amber Heard responds to this saying:

One does not negate the other. That’s irrelevant. That’s a complete non sequitur. Just because I’ve thrown pots and pans does not mean you cannot come and knock on my door.

Amber Heard has accused Depp of domestic abuse publicly and Depp that his reputation was dented and has ruined his career after costing him so many opportunities. Depp has said:
