Leader of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) Manzoor Pashteen has been released from DI Khan jail on Tuesday weeks after he was granted bail.
Manzoor Pashteen was arrested last month when a case was registered against him involving multiple charges under the sections 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), 120-B (punishment of criminal conspiracy), 124 (sedition), 153-A (promoting enmity between different groups) and 123-A (condemning the creation of the country and advocating the abolishment of its sovereignty) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Manzoor Pashteen was granted bail weeks ago by the DI Khan court and later by the sessions court in the Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where some charges of sedition were filed against him as well.

A lawyer representing the PTM leader said:
A total of eight cases were registered against Pashteen in DI Khan and Tank districts. After completing the necessary legal formalities, Pashteen was released from jail,
A large number of PTM workers came to receive Manzoor Pashteen and he thanked them for the support and said:
We are not among those who are scared by jails. We will stand by all those who will stand for humanity,
We have risen up against slavery. We will rebel against all forms of repression to fight in humanity’s favour,
