Peshawar Zalmi won the eleventh match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) against Lahore Qalandars by 16 runs at Rawalpindi.
The match had to be cut short and both sides played only 12 overs since the match was delayed due to rainy weather and both sides played 12 overs.
Lahore Qalandars won had won the toss but elected to bowl first with Peshawar Zalmi batting first and scoring a total of 132/7 which is a very tough score to beat consider that both sides were given only 12 overs to play.

Tom Banton and Haider Ali gave an exceptional performance with Tom Banton scoring a total of 34 runs off 15 balls while Haider Ali also scored 34 runs off 12 balls.
Dilbar Hussain bowling for the Zalmi squad gave an outstanding performance in the match taking 4 wickets for only 24 runs.
Batting second was the Lahore Qalandars squad who were unable to reach the 133 total required to win that was set by the Zalmi team.
Samit Patel scored the highest for the Qalandars with 34 runs off 15 balls while Chris Lynn followed with 30 runs off 15 balls. Fakhar Zaman also played well and scored 22 off 19 balls but unfortunately these players were not able to bring their team the much needed win.
Lewis Gregory bowling for the Zalmi team gave it his all and took 4 wickets off 25 runs and helping his team to the win.
This was the second win of the Peshawar Zalmi squad in the PSL 2020 tournament and Lahore Qalandars haven’t won a single match this tournament.
