Instagram feature allowing you to block or restrict multiple accounts at once

Instagram is working on a feature that will allow users to block or restrict multiple accounts from their posts comment sections as step to fight online bullying and harassment on the photo sharing platform.

instagram restrict block — Instagram introducing a new feature allowing users to restrict of block multiple accounts direct from the comment section of their posts in an attempt to control online bullying.

The information was first revealed by a tipster Jane Manchun Wong who is known for reverse engineering to find out new and coming features. Jane posted on Twitter about the new feature with some screenshots.

Instagram ended up responding to Jane saying that it was a new feature that they were testing and adding that more information would be released about it soon.

Instagram has been working hard to control abuse and harassment on the social media platform and even introduced another feature called ‘restrict’ last year that allowed users to review comments made to their posts before approving them or just deleting them if they wanted.
