All electric Audi e-tron SUV introduced in Pakistan

Audi has introduced its first electric vehicle, the Audi e-tron SUV in Pakistan at their launch event Karachi yesterday.

The price of the Audi E-Tron is Rs. 14.9 million. The company has started the bookings for the car and deliveries will start next month in April 2020.

Audi is introducing its electric vehicle in Pakistan under the National Electric Vehicle Policy (NECP) that was introduced by the federal government last year to facilitate such products and promote use of electric vehicles (EV) in the country.

About Audi E-Tron SUV Quattro

The Audi E-Tron Quattro has two electric motors at each axle producing a total of 402 HP and 561 Nm of torque which is capable of doing 0-100 km/h is just 6.6 seconds.

All this is powered by a 95.3kWh lithium ion battery pack which the company claims is able to give a mileage of 400 km’s and even more if the vehicle is put under the efficiency driving mode rather than the sports mode.

Charging the car

The Audi E-Tron Quattro uses 150 kW DC fast charger and is capable of charging enough for 80 km drive in 10 minutes and over 260 km in 30 minutes.

The total charging time over a 240 volt outlet will take nine hours for the car to fully charge.
