The number of confirmed novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Pakistan is now 543 and this number is rapidly rising everyday.
Sindh being most affected as coronavirus cases seem to be getting out of control and the Sindh government is now urging everyone to stay indoors.
Here is a breakdown of the coronavirus cases in all provinces as of 21 March 2020 (3:00pm).

There have been three reported deaths because of the novel coronavirus so far with two of them taking place in KPK while one was from Sindh.
The federal government has said that there won’t be a lock down right now however they are urging people to stay indoors and avoid contact with other people to curb the spread of the coronavirus
Sindh government is especially taking these measures seriously after the first reported death and the rising number in the province.
The residents of Sindh however, are ignoring government instructions to curb the spread of the coronavirus and usual traffic was seen in Karachi on Saturday morning with buses full of people and the same crowd on the roadside hotel despite the government telling people to self isolate for three days.
Even the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Mushtaq Mehar warned people that no more than five people should be seen together in public during this coronavirus outbreak otherwise legal action can be taken.

The people however seem to not be listening to anyone and continuing with their normal lives amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The novel coronavirus has infected more than 277,000 people and taken lives of more than 11,000 people globally. The infections are most in China where the virus originated however, the death toll in Italy has surpassed that of China by a significant margin.
Where China has a death toll of 3,255 for 81,008 confirmed coronavirus cases, Italy has a death toll of 4,032 from just 47,021 confirmed coronavirus cases.
Earlier the epicenter of the coronavirus had moved from China to Europe however now the coronavirus is most affecting the United States where the number of patients is rapidly rising and so are the related deaths in the country especially in State of New York which has one-third of the cases in the country.
